Manga Vs Comics - Which is Best
I think so many of you don't know what the difference is between Manga and comics.The words Manga, comics and graphic novel all have the same meaning.But it depends upon palace for example in Japan it is called as manga.In all other countries it is called comics. In America there are Marvel comics and DC comics. Comics are called graphic novels because graphic means picture and novel means for a long time.
So let's check which one is best: manga or comics.
1.Outer looks of Books.
In the DC comics there are Superman, Wonder Woman,Spider Man, etc…
In the manga there are Death note, shinchan,Pokemon and etc..In Japan we can read the manga but they will create anime for that manga. What we can read is called manga and what we can see is called animation.
2.Black and white vs colorful.
If we consider the Japan Magna is in Black and white.But in American comics it will be colorful.
3.Low price vs high price.
The color of the manga is black and white so it is very cheap compared to comics.
4.Story based vs character based.
Manga is based on a story. But the comics are based on the character.For example in comics take the spider man in the spider man story there is no end of Spiderman because it is a character.In story based there is beginning,middle and end. But in the comics there is beginning, continuation
Reboot. In comics if one character dies it will definitely come in future.
5.One writer vs many writers.
In the manga the writer will continue the story with one character and if he wants to change the story means he will change as he wish.But in DC Comics the Character is registered with the company they will change the writers because every writer thinks differently.
If you see manga writers there are only 1 or 2 writers in the manga. But in the comics there are so many writers.
6.Which one is easy to understand.
The manga writer in the beginning only decides the end of the manga. But in comics the writer will starts but we will don't think about the end. Because comics are character based.The comics are multi universe it is a little difficult to understand the concept.But in the manga it is very easy to understand the concept.
7.Which one has more Genres.
Most of the Comics are in action, adventure, violence and etc..In the manga there are some life lessons, entertainment
and action thrillers etc..
